Nimis and Arx

I was very happy to finally see this installation by the artist Lars Vilks IRL and it was truly amazing. The towers are built from driftwood and nails during several years. Its hard to understand the scale in the pictures but the sculptures are 10-15 meters high which you can climb into. The history of the installation is great too, read all about it on www.ladonia.com/nimis_arx/index.html

Copenhagen 26th July

A day trip to Copenhagen from Malmö. Walked around, ate food, drank beer, saw the Bodies Exhibition which was both fascinating, educating and controversial.. Ended up for drinks in the new Karriere Bar which have involved artist and designers from various different disciplines.
You find works from Olafur Eliasson, Ernesto Neto, Dan Graham and many many more. Interesting concept but it still felt a bit, hmm, newly opened perhaps..
But the drinks were huge!
